Susan Patton

Creative, results-driven, self-motivated person with multiple skills. Photographer, Artist, Communicator, Social Media Marketer and User Interface/User Experience Designer with 20 years of professional web design and marketing experience. I retired after spending past ten years at the University of Kansas.

My degree is a BFA in Visual Communication Design. Visual Communication combines graphic design, with design thinking and teaches how to solve communication problems with visual solutions.

Since I retired I have been focused on improving and creatively expressing myself through my photography and painting. I enjoy my role as a freelance communictaion coordinator with Friends of Lawrence Area Trails (FLAT).

As Communication Coordinator I represent FLAT on social media and I am responsible for the website and the FLAT newsletters. I am passionate about walking and capturing the beauty of the world through the lens of my camera. I am proud to say that I’ve walked and photographed the entire Lawrence Loop.
